Zach Galifianakis' New Comedy Role

Greek-American actor Zach Galifianakis and Mad Men's Jon Hamm are reported to be starring in a new comedy titled: "Keeping Up With the Joneses".

The film that's predicted to be a success, centers around undercover agents camping out in the suburbs. They are eventually discovered by their neighbors, a type-A couple, who become entranced by the appearance of the racy agents and later become suspicious of their communities' newest residents.

Production details are being finalized now and the movie has been picked up by Fox 2000. Greg Mottola of "Superbad" will direct the film, while Galifianakis' and Hamm's contracts are still being processed. It is yet to be determined which role each of the hit comedians will play.

Galifianakis' family hails from Crete. The entertainer discusses his ethnicity often, even joking to Comedy Central: "I'm Greek, and I have sinus problems. And I know why: my body produces feta cheese. It's not really a joke; it's just a fact". He is the winner of 2010's Hollywood Film Festival's Comedy Award and the MTV Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance in "The Hangover". The actor has been nominated for a plethora of other accolades, including two Emmy Awards. Zach Galifianakis' "Between Two Ferns" interview with U.S. President Barack Obama recently went viral.
