Actor James Rebhorn Dead at 65

Successful actor James Rebhorn died this past Friday at the age of 65.

He acted in many impressive film and TV roles even though his name may not be popularly recognized. In addition to fulfilling the role of district attorney in the series finale of "Seinfeld", he played "Independence Day's" Secretary of Defense and Al Pacino's "Scent of a Woman's" haughty headmaster.

Representative Dianne Busch stated, "He died on Friday at home with his loving family in attendance", to CNN. Other reputable roles included parts in "The Game" and "My Cousin Vinny". Rebhorn launched his career in the soap opera world including "As the World Turns", where he gained a nomination for an Outstanding Supporting Actor Award from Soap Opera Digest in 1992. The actor was a New York's Ensemble Studio Theatre member.
