"Big Driver" Stars Olympia Dukakis
Lifetime Original Movie Big Driver is set to premier this fall and stars Academy award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis.
The film is based on a Steven King novel and also stars Maria Bellos and Joan Jett. The plot centers around a young novelist's quest for revenge, after being the victim of a violent crime that almost killed her. It is being filmed this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
New York Times bestselling author King wrote Big Driver as part of his Full Dark, No Stars collection. This is the first time Lifetime and King have collaborated on a production. Dukakis plays the roll of Doreen. Big Driver's executive producer is Bill Haber and is being produced by Ostar Productions.
