US President Barack Obama on Wednesday visited the Acropolis, a childhood dream,as he commented, and was toured on the sacred rock..

He is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.

He will depart for Berlin later in the day.

The Acropolis Museum will celebrate its sixth anniversary on June 20 with the inauguration of the temporary exhibition "Samothrace. The mysteries of the great gods".
