Commission: Progress in negotiations

There is progress in the negotiations between the institutions and the Greek authorities, but they are not expected to draft progress reports said Annika Braitchart, representative of the Finance Commissioner, Pierre Moskovisi today in Brussels.
In particular, Ms Braitchart was asked whether the Brussels Group will prepare a written progress report on Greece, in view of the Eurogroup of April 24. She replied that although there is progress, she was not aware of any written progress report. Ntaiselmploum: Greece - creditors will reach a new agreement in the coming weeks.
Ms. Braitchart added that in any case, the Eurogroup Working Group (EWG), which will meet tomorrow through video conferencing, and the Eurogroup in Riga will assess the progress made recently in the talks between the institutions and the Greek authorities.
Moreover, invited to comment on the interview of the Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker in the journal Politico, the Commission representative, Margaritis Schinas, dodged the answer by merely saying that the interview was given a week ago and that "since then much has happened" .
