Greek president in Moscow

President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos is visitng Moscow today, following an invitation by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration that will grant him an honorary degree.
Mr. Pavlopoulos will also meet with the President Vladimir Putin tomorrow. Commentators have so far found the agenda of the president's meetin, officially "weak".
Mr Pavlopoulos met also with the Chairman of the Russian Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
We cannot tolerate this situation anymore, namely the wars, the refugees inflow, the downgrading of the human being, the humanitarian crisis and the bloodshed from terror attacks, stated Greek President of Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos after his meeting in Moscow with the Chairman of the Russian Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
When all people are united, we can face the war and the need to fight against the terrorists, added Pavlopoulos.
He also underlined that Greece and himself have confirmed that Russia's steps within the context of the representative democracy are substantial and in the interest not only of Russia but of the European Union not only for financial reasons so that the problem of the embargo is alleviated as soon as possible.
