91 wildfires reported in Greece in the last 24h

A total of ninety one forest fires were recorded in the last 24 hours throughout the country. The blaze continues to rage on the islands of Zakynthos and Cephalonia and in the wider region of Kalamos, Attica prefecture.
It is the highest number of wildfires recorded from the start of the fire season.
The series of wildfires recorded on Zakynthos in the last period raised huge concern in Fire Brigade's authorities that suspect deliberate arson. 22 wildfires were reported on the island in the last 24 hours.
