Featured PM Mitstotakis urges Patras to observe health measures during patron saint holiday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday contacted Patras Mayor Kostas Peletidis and the regional governor of Western Greece, Nektarios Farmakis, on the phone, to discuss how local government can assist in the observance of health measures during the feast day of St. Andrew (Aghios Andreas), the patron saint of Patras, next Monday.

The prime minister stressed the need to fully observe all protection measures against the spread of Covid-19 when the city, the third-largest in Greece, celebrates the holiday.
Specifically, according to government sources, Mitsotakis underlined the increased health burden in the region observed in the last period, noting that this requires citizens to be extra cautious, and asked the heads of local administration to contribute to this effort.
