4.5R quake felt throughout Crete

A 4.5 on the Richter scale earthquake was recorded at 17.01 (15.01 GMT) northeast of the Miamous site on the large Aegean island of Crete, or some 40 kilometers south of the port city of Iraklio.
The quake was estimated at a depth of 14.5 kilometers and was felt throughout the island. No information on damages has been reported as yet.
