Forty migrants on a boat off Mytilene were rescued by a Coast Guard detachment today. One of the migrants had fallen overboard but was rescued

The migrants had called for help on the European emergency number 112. After their rescue they were taken to the Mytilene port authority.

Meanwhile, 24 persons from Somalia, 7 from Syria and a woman from Erithrea arrived at 7:10 this morning at Piraeus port. They were given a six-month extension of deportation, by Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias.
