OASA Plans Wait Time Information System
The Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) recently signed an agreement to introduce a smart bus and bus stop information system, according to reports.
Beginning in February, riders will be alerted on wait times for arriving busses. As reported by ekathimerini, construction will start this month that includes 1,000 stops, 1,750 busses and 250 trolley busses that will be interconnected by January 2016. Timeframes will be available at stations, and on cell phones and computers.
