The Greek Foreign Ministry has responded to provocative statements made recently by Turkish politicians including the Turkish PM Cavusoglu and the main opposition leader.

Eftihis Vassilakis, the vice president of Greece’s largest carrier, Aegean, is calling on the government to stop taxing healthy enterprises warning that increasing levies will lead to the “stagnation and decline” of the sector.

AEGEAN’s “Closer to Greece” initiative this month is dedicated to the island of Chios. The “star destination” will be introduced to all domestic and international passengers.
