The city of Delphi will submit a bid to be named European Capital of Culture for 2021 with the slogan "Metamorfosis," the mayor of Delphi Thanassis Panagiotopoulos said on Wednesday at a special event held at the National History Museum in Athens.

Greek full moon celebrations at Delphi, the Cyclades and Northeastern Aegean islands archaeological sites and museums, will offer Odysseus Elytis poem readings on the evening of August 10th, according to ANA-MPA.
