Prime minister Antonis Samaras will be visiting Malta and Italy on Monday, 21 October, in the framework of an initiative regarding illegal immigration. The visit will also encompass issues pertaining to the assumption of the EU presidency by Greece in January 2014.
The troika is expected to put more pressure on the government to find an additional 2 billion euros in cuts after a look at the the draft 2014 budget.
EU commissioner for enlargement, Štefan Füle will be meeting today with UN mediator for the FYROM name issue, Matthew Nimetz, in New York, as Petar Stanor, spokesperson for Mr. Fule told Skopje media.
