The 24-hour general strike yesterday was at the focus of the German press, that pointed out that it was a protest against the government's austerity policy.

Greece has paralyzed due to the 24-hour strike announced by GSEE (General Confederation of Labor) and ADEDY (Civil servants union) with the central slogan "You've finished it".

Greece's largest private and public sector unions GSEE and ADEDY have called a 24-hour general strike against continued austerity in Greece on Thursday, as well as a protest rally at Pedion tou Areos park in Athens at 11:00.
