A ban on swimming at beaches of Attica affected by the extensive oil spill of “Agia Zoni II” was lifted on Friday, following a decision by Shipping and Island Policy Minister Panagiotis Kouroumblis.

Glyfada is a hot spot for tourists, as it’s located in the heart of the Athenian Riviera and boasts some of the nicest beaches in Greece’s capital city. 

The 22-year-old "Sacrifice to Satan" killer will face the courts tomorrow, after admitting to murdering a homeless women in Glyfada, on April 20th.
