The Greek Foreign Ministry expressed its deep sorrow over NATO helicopter accident in the Ionian Sea on Thursday.
Tensions were high at the NATO Ministerial Meeting on Thursday, as the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu reiterated some of the non-existent accusations against Greece while demanding he respond to Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.
Greece, as a neighbour of Libya that is directly affected by developments there and as a factor for stability in the region, also has a role and a say in the situation in Libya, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias stressed during his meeting in Geneva with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
