Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Sunday that Greece needs the full solidarity and support of the European Union in this difficult situation, which was deliberately caused by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Alternate Minister of Citizen Protection George Koumoutsakos and Dutch Minister of Migration Ankie Broekers-Knol met in Athens on Thursday and jointly committed to strengthen Greek-Dutch co-operation in matters of migration asylym, including where information technology systems (IT) is involved, as well as in planning and distributing humanitarian aid. 

The Greek Air Force on Sunday helped with the transfer of some 9 tons of humanitarian aid to neighboring Albania, which was recently struck by earthquakes and floods, according to the General Secretariat for Civil Protection.
