The spate of provocations continues with unabated intensity from Ankara, and the EU is also being targetted by the Turkish Foreign Ministry in an announcement on Tuesday.
Turkey is questioning the Greek sovereignty of Imia, with a statement of its foreign ministry according to which this particular region of the Aegean is not granted to Greece under international treaties. This was topped by provocations by Erdogan from within Hagia Sophia.
Following the threats of a Turkish strike within the Cypriot EEZ, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s leading consultant Yigit Bulut, made yet another inflammatory statement against Greece.
