One of the first flights with Israeli tourists arrived in Greece shortly before 11:00 on Friday morning.

Seven tourists from Israel were rescued by the Greek coast guard when their sailing boat caught fire and run aground in the sea region south of Ermioni.
A coast guard patrol vessel transferred the tourists to the port of Ermioni. All the tourists are safe and well.

The tourism ministry's strategic choice within the framework of the governmental cooperation between Greece and Israel was the strengthening of bilateral tourism relations and the dynamic increase of the tourist flow from Israel to Greece.
