Moments of horror unfolded on a motorway when a tourist bus headed to Kozani was set on fire while it was in the tunnels of the Egnatia Motorway in Vermio.

There was tension in Kozani, outside the Exhibition Center of Macedonia, before the speech of Alexis Tsipras at the Regional Congress, on Wednesday.

UNESCO has inscribed the centuries old custom of the “Momoeria” held annually in the wider Kozani region, northern Greece, on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity this week.
