With an impressive parade and with the best – so far – television coverage, the grand military parade of Athens for the National anniversary of March 25, 1821, was completed a little while ago, in the presence of the President of the Republic Mr. Katerina Sakellaropoulos, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis , the Speaker of the Parliament Kostas Tassoulas, political leaders and representatives of all political parties, but also the Minister of Defense of Cyprus Michalis Giorgallas, who was a guest of the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Panagiotopoulos.

The grand military parade held annually in Athens on March 25, to celebrate Greece’s Independence Day holiday and 201st anniversary since the start of the 1821 revolution against Ottoman rule, got underway in the city centre on Friday.
