Greece signed a deal for the upgrade of its fleet of Mirage 2000/5 warplanes with a trio of French companies on Monday within the framework a relevant defence Ministry bill on armaments which was ratified last week.

The contracts for the upgrade of F-16s, support for the Mirage aircraft and excess materials (torpedoes) for class-124 submarines will be presented at the cabinet meeting on Thursday by Greek National Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos, the minister said on Wednesday.
