The light of day shows the magnitude of the destruction of the camp hosting 13,000 refugees and immigrants in Moria. The whole part outside the KYT (refugee reception cnter) has been completely destroyed, while a large part of the camp inside the KYT has been destroyed, and continues to burn.

Claiming that they are "exposed to the coronavirus", asylum seekers at the reception and identification centre for refugees in migrants in Moria Lesvos, on Wednesday staged a protest outside the entrance of the hotspot.

National Public Health Organization (EODY) head Panagiotis Arkoumaneas paid a visit on Tuesday to the Moria hotspot on Lesvos island to review Covid-19 preventative measures on the island.
Arkoumaneas held a series of meetings with officials that included the Moria Reception and Identification Center's director, the Lesvos branch of Doctors Without Borders, the director of Mytilini General Hospital and the president of the Medical Association of Lesvos.
