Barbs against Greece over the situation of refugee camps in the islands of the eastern Aegean have been let loose by European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič.
Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas said on Thursday the government plans to build four refugee camps in Crete – one in each municipality - to house about 2,000 previously registered refugees and migrants.
The refugee camps in Sindos and Schisto that the army will provide for the creation of relocation centres will be open but guarded, Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas on Monday said in statements to SKAI TV.
