UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi sent a message to Europe to do more for Greece after his visit on Wednesday to Kara Tepe refugees’ camp in Mytilene.

Hellenic Coast Guard rescued 177 refugees and immigrants during the last 24 hours in three different incidents in Lesvos, Chios and Kos.

The Port Authority also proceeded to three arrests of traffickers. At the same time, another 234 immigrants and refugees landed in boats, while 3 traffickers were arrested in six different incidents that took place on the islands of Lesvos, Chios and Samos.
