The number of schools closing due to coronavirus in Greece is increasing.
Schools in Greece will soon have access to faster internet connections, as the ministries of education and digital governance on Monday said are taking action to upgrade schools' internet connections via the Greek School Network, the national network of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs which interconnects all schools of primary and secondary education.
Main opposition New Democracy wants schools that are "creative and autonomous, which ensure conditions of equality and support the weaker children," main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Friday, while visiting a primary school in the Athens district of Agios Dimitrios.
