Vicky Stamati, the wife of Akis Tsohatzopoulos, was rushed to a psychiatric hospital, urgently yesterday, after an apparent breakdown.

The court has accepted the proposals made by the prosecutor handing Akis Tsohatzopoulos a sentence of 20 years in jail.

Akis Tsohatzopoulos and sixteen other defendants were found guilty in a money laundering and corruption trial lasting many months'
Twelve of the of those found guilty were deemed to have no extenuating circumstances.
