Greek Finance Minister Christos Staikouras said the suspension of tax and social security obligations would be extended by 4 months if the coronavirus crisis continued.

Greece’s financial audit authorities have targeted 20,000 properties leased via the Airbnb platform which were not declared to the tax office.

Greek Parliament has published details of the imposed taxes on annual income earned from the short-term lease of property for tourism accommodation purposes, mainly Airbnb.
