Greece aims to break 2015 record for tourist arrivals

The government's aim is to break the record set in 2015, when there were more than 26 million arrivals from abroad and tourism revenue reached 14.1 billion euros, Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said in an interview with the Greek newspaper 'Honi' on Sunday.

Tourist Arrivals Rise 6.2% in First Nine Months

Greece welcomed 14 million international visitor arrivals by air in the first nine months of this year, 6.2 percent more than in the comparable period last year, according to data from all of the country’s major airports released by the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) on Monday.
