There is tension in the eastern Aegean, after the morning exercise in the context of readiness of the Armed Forces, activated the air defense system on the islands of Chios and Oinouses.
Two Turkish F-16 entered Athens’ FIR this afternoon (08.02 local time) between the islands of Lesvos and Chios without having submitted a flight plan for a second consecutive day, Greece’s National Defence General Staff said on Tuesday.
It seems that tension over the Aegean is rising dangerously with Turkey continuing its provocative tactics.
