AHEPA & Guglielmo Marconi University Collaborate

AHEPA released the following statement below.

WASHINGTON, DC - The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), a leading membership-based association for the nation's millions of American citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes, has formalized an agreement with Guglielmo Marconi University to provide educational opportunities to AHEPA members, announced Supreme President Phillip T. Frangos.

Through the agreement, AHEPA members will receive a 20% discount on single courses and degree programs at the university. In addition, one AHEPA member will receive a full scholarship to the university for a bachelor's or master's program.

"We're very pleased with the development of this relationship with Guglielmo Marconi University," AHEPA Supreme President Frangos said. "It will provide an exciting and unique opportunity for AHEPA members to take individual courses or pursue a degree at a highly regarded European university. In addition, because of the online format, anyone can take classes without having to relocate; and for one student, it will mean a full scholarship to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree, which is a phenomenal opportunity."

AHEPA will accept applications beginning January 2015, when the AHEPA National Educational Foundation releases its call for applications for all scholarships. The deadline to apply will be March 31, 2015.
