Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne & Victoria Unveils News Property

The Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria (GOCMV) is scheduled to open its new 15 story property, in the crest of Melbourne next month.

The initial creation of GOCMV was established 117 years ago and is considered the largest Greek organization in Australia. The new structure will include the Greek Centre for Contemporary Culture, while the National Bank of Greece and law firms are already in operational order within the building.

Community President Bill Papastergiadis described, "We still have space available for rent and anyone interested can contact us", to Neos Kosmos. Papastergiadis added, "It was built in 16 months and costed us approximately 13.8 million dollars".

About $5 million dollars in expenses is still required. The President commented, "We will make every possible effort to collect as much money as we can". GOCMV serves the entire Greek and Greek-Australian community of the country.
