This is a serious and determined campaign to the end, and Mr Demos needs help to get to the finish line. He has committed $2 million to this campaign, and already purchased a $500,000 media blitz that will dominate his Congressional district through the June 24 primary.
George Demos has already been endorsed by former New York State Governor George Pataki, and Congressman Gus Bilirakis.
George Demos is a former US Securities and Exchange Commission prosecutor and was a candidate for the Republican nomination for New York's 1st Congressional District, in Long Island.
Demos is the grandson of Greek immigrants. His mother was a public school teacher, and his father was an attorney in private practice.
Demos received his B.A. from Columbia University, majoring in political science, and his J.D. from Fordham Law School.
In 2012, Mr Demos wed Chrysa Tsakopoulos, daughter of prominent California businessman and philanthropist Angelo K. Tsakopoulos. The couple were blessed with a son last year, and now Mr Demos is ready to bring to Washington his profound dedication to public service, vibrant economic growth, a strong defense, and core national and international principles so important to our families, our communities and our Nation.
