Serbia shook off a disappointing group stage to qualify in the Quarter-Finals of the Basketball World Cup with a hard-fought 90-72, victory over undefeated Greece.

Having forced a Game 5, the finals returned to OAKA and nothing could spoil the party. The Greens are once again Greek champions, beating Olympiacos by 82 points to 71.

A first for the municipality of Andravida-Kyllini, which elected Syrian doctor Nabil-Iosif Morant as mayor.
