The electoral law will be submitted to Parliament in the next days and will have been voted by July 20, parliament president Nikos Voutsis said in an interview with SKAI TV.

The leader of Potami, Stavros Theodorakis, said on Monday his party will not support the government’s proposal for a change in the electoral system, arguing it will lead to political instability.

The intention of the government to change the eletoral law, as concerns elections for local government, was announced by alternate interior minister Leonidas Grigorakos.
