The electronic platform for registering in the postal voting lists went into operation on Monday. The activation of the platform, a few weeks after the passing of the relevant law, marks the establishment, for the first time in Greece, of postal voting as a means for facilitating voters in exercising their right to vote in the European elections and national referendums.

Greeks who live abroad will be able to register for national elections on an e-platform that will go live in spring 2020, Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos said on Thursday.

More than 5,500 complaints have been submitted οn the electronic platform www.kathimerinotita.gov.gr concerning daily problems citizens face with Greek bureaucracy, according to data released by the office of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris on Monday.
