Greek Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos met with U.S. billionaire and Red Apple Group founder John Catsimatidis to discuss strengthening economic ties and boosting American investment in Greece, the minister announced.

A Memorandum of Understanding with OpenAI, the technological giant of Artificial Intelligence, was signed today at the Alexandria Innovation Zone in Thessaloniki by the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos, the head of the company’s startups for Europe, Laura Modiano, and the CEO of Endeavor Greece, Panagiotis Karampinis.

The first official reaction to highly annoyed comments by the Russian foreign ministry’s spokeswoman against Greece’s stance vis-à-vis Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine came on Sunday evening, with the public order minister rejecting claims of an “anti-Russian information campaign” by Athens.
