The Greek “Lord of the Rings” Lefteris Petrounias won the gold medal in the men’ rings competition at the World Gymnastics Championships in Doha.
Greek gymnast Eleftherios Petrounias on Saturday won his eighth gold medal in the last 22 months after finishing first in the rings event at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Lefteris Petrounia triumphed and won the gold medal in the World Championship for the second consecutive time at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, where some of the most important pages in the history of the gymnastics are written.
