George Stephanopoulos Interviews Ferguson Cop Darren Wilson (Video Below)

George Stephanopoulos scored the first interview with Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, after he was acquitted by the grand jury for shooting Michael Brown, that can be seen in the video at the very bottom of this page.

Wilson shot and killed the 18-year-old African-American teen on August 9th in Ferguson, Missouri and has until now stayed out of the spotlight. Wilson sat down with Stephanopoulos for a segment broadcasted on "Nightline" yesterday.  The Hellenic correspondent stated, "No question off limits."

The cop contends that it was the first time he had ever fired a handgun and had no other choice. Throughout the interview Wilson defends his actions to the Greek-American journalist and believes that he was conducting himself in a professional manner.

Wilson commented, "I just did my job...I did what I was paid to do and that was my job. I followed my training, the training took over, the training led me to what happened. I maintained the integrity of this investigation, and that's it." The "Nightline" coverage can be watched by scrolling to the very bottom of this article.
