U.S. Embassy Athens Sponsors University Career Center Trip
Greek university career center directors and employees are being sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Athens, for a 10-day trip to the United States.
The mission of the visit is to assist Greece regarding youth employment, with an emphasis on newly graduated students. The Embassy has scheduled private and public university tours, business meetings, and seminars with local California governmental delegates.
According to The U.S. Embassy in Athens, the goal of the trip is to showcase examples and skills of how American educational institutions assist students with their career options. These include online job databases, e-recruiting, and online counseling.
The program also studies how career centers advance young workers' innovative and entrepreneurial skills. The ten-day program will take place in San Diego and Riverside, California.
