Cyprus president needs heart surgery

Cyprus president Nikos Anastasiadis will be undergoing heart surgery according to media in Nicosia.
According to written statement issued by government spokesman Nikos Christodoulidis: the President of the Republic visited the medical center, yesterday, and underwent routine check ups, where it was found that he is in need of operation in the hearts mitral valve (bicuspid valve).” As the government spokesman said; “the procedure will take place in a short time.”
