Australian Courts Revoke Amirah Droudis' Bail

Self-described terrorist Amirah Droudis' bail was revoked today by the Australian justice system.

The Greek-Australian, who is the partner of deceased killer Man Haron Monis, was instructed by the Sydney courts to return to jail before she is called to trial. Last week, Monis held a Sydney Cafe at gunpoint for 16 hours, resulting in the death of two people and himself.

The 35-year-old female whose given name was Anastasia, has a lengthy criminal record. Chief Magistrate Graeme Henson referenced the felon's previous charges and the feasibility that she may skip out on her set bail, as factors of today's decision.

Last week, New South Wales Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione questioned Monis' bail options on past offenses. The Greek-Australian criminal has been reported to be from a Greek family from the Sydney suburb of Belmore.
