Dolce&Gabbana's "Greek" swing
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The new Dolce&Gabbana Spring/Summer collection inspired by Greek and Roman architecture left people at the fashion show, speechless, well so to speak.
Dolce&Gabbana’s new collection and especially the accessories, bear striking ancient Greek elements that many would call simply “kitsch”! In a wa, if they appeared in hollywood epics the Greek press would have a field day tearing it down.
The ancient Greek Ionic columns were introduced, dominating even the heels, while dresses and shirts, as well as handbags inspired by the Greek-Roman architecture, definitely make a remarkable fashion statement!
