Marking the 96th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne, the landmark pact delineating the modern Turkish state, President Erdogan on Wednesday stressed Turkey's "resilience in the face of external threats," signed after Mustafa Kemal slaughtered hundreds of thousands of hapless civilians of Greek, or Christian descent.
