SYRIZA's Glezos Pens Embargo Letter to Putin
SYRIZA MEP Manolis Glezos pleaded to Russia to remove Greek agricultural goods from its embargo that is imposed on the EU, United States, Australia, Norway and Canada.
Glezos penned a moving letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In his text, he expressed his understanding as to why the embargo was enacted and banned EU agricultural products.
The SYRIZA MEP stated, "on behalf of the Greek people, who are going through a period of extreme deprivation, I appeal to your humanitarian feelings to reconsider your decision as regards the Greek farmers", as reported by ANA-MPA.
