Eurovision: Akylas in 10th place, despite predictions

Against the odds and despite his excellent performance, Akylas finished 10th in Saturday's Eurovision final, with a total of 220 points.
"Ferto" was voted for by the juries of 14 countries, garnering a total of 73 points and taking 12th place in the relevant ranking.
In detail, the countries and the scores of the juries were:
- San Marino (6),
- Estonia (3),
- Israel (5),
- Australia (2),
- Sweden (4),
- Albania (2)
- Cyprus (12),
- Montenegro (6),
- Armenia (3),
- Poland (8),
- Latvia (1),
- Serbia (12),
- Moldova (8) and
- Austria (1).
Serbia and Cyprus each awarded "Ferto" 12 points, while Moldova and Poland each received 8 points.
The public "embrace" Greece
The Eurovision audience had a different opinion from the judges, who placed the Greek entry quite high, in 6th place in the standings.
The televoting gave "Ferto" 147 points, proof that the Greek song had - from the beginning - a strong appeal to Eurofans.
The judges kept Greece low, but the public eventually pushed it into the top ten.
