Tit for tat diplomacy

The Turkish Foreign Ministry today asked the Greek Ambassador in Ankara Kyriakos Loukakis, a day after the demarche to the Turkish ambassador in Athens Kerim Uras for Turkish Directive surveys in areas of the Cyprus EEZ.
The Greek ambassador met with Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Muhtar Güney.
On Tuesday, the foreign ministry had summoned the Turkish ambassador in Athens Kerim Uras which demarche was made to the issue of the illegal Turkish NAVTEX directive for investigations of the Turkish research vessel Barbaros areas in the EEZ of the Republic, and the intensity Turkey caused by its actions in the region.
