New Immigrant Bill

Simplified procedures for residence permits with a decrease in the number of required documents are foreseen by the new immigration code tendered by the interior ministry.
Children of immigrants that have attended primary school will have the opportunity to obtain long term resident status when they reach adulthood .
The whole bill that will be published tomorrow and debated until 29 October. At the same type residence permit classes decrease to 19, from 50 today, while 20 fewer documents will be required to renew permits.
