Robbie Williams to play Athens
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
British singer Robbie Williams is expected to perform for the first time in Greece in June. The popular performer will appear live on the stage of Rockwave Festival at the TerraVibe Park in Malakasa on Saturday, June 20.
Williams is considered one of the most significant artists of contemporary music and the most successful music artist in Great Britain. He has sold more than 70 million albums and singles and has been honored with 17 Brit Awards, more than any other artist.
It's been a while since his last Top-10 single, but Williams' concert are still on demand and generally sold out. Very successful in Greece in the early 2000s, his first concert in Athens (actually about 25 kms from Athens in Malakasa), is highly anticipated.
